This Year Go Pap

This year go pap

Everyone must be a proud groom to this New Year the bride
Leave no stone unturned; spill no semen for her belly must protrude with our individual ideas and give birth to our desires
I am bent on impregnating…This year’s womb is very receptive… I am coming hard, no contraceptives…

I will continue to speak straight just like my sexuality
I won’t relent on speaking street the language of the subjugated also I speak elite; the language of the privileged majority
There is unity in this plurality
Just like my Lord and King knowing the language of babies and oldies
I speak faith, Faith is my lingua

Check my early tweet this year
I said this year go pap, I go fit swear
God is my helper
I am no puppy or a grown dog
A crab will never give birth to a bird; Ghanaian adage

Check my bloodline and know why I roar and don’t hiss; I’m a lion…
Did I hear you say there is a Goliath hiding somewhere in every fresh year...?
Araba stamp; "I don’t fear huu";

I have my slingshot and my five polished stones... call me David a.k.a "Stonebwoy"
Nickname each of my stones raven,
it flies straight to the foreheads of unwanted giants...
This year we reigning

Those of you who know me know that Laud de poet is realer
This year I am going to get drunk, yes get drunk on success not amarulla
Life’s tough experiences shouldn’t kill anyone, for me tough skin is what I have developed multiples plies of that of an alligator

Gutter to gutter, I remember those days when friends used chase baela,
For me it was gold fish, the adjective of the noun has always been the ish;
I have always desired the street of heaven

God is good now I am grown, never relenting on having the legal tender
Philanthropist in the making,
when people like Mannie negotiate better and Quallo makes my wallet fatter,
why won’t this New Year be one pregnant with great aspirations

THIS YEAR GO PAP, THIS YEAR GO PAP, THIS YEAR GO PAP

Reminder, we are all connected in one way or the other
I said it before everyone’s existence is based on the existence of another
I am a man I’m black and proud and from above I’ve been gifted,
and my gift will make way for me; Holy Scriptures
My every move is towards the fulfillment of prophecy,

Quod scriptum est; what is written is written
Que sera sera; what will be will be
Blisters to scars, well I call them monumental landmarks to help us remember the past

Making things that are rare, common; like spoken word; now it’s all over your face
With the mind of Christ, I can only speak more of the wisdom of the old man upstairs
Down beneath he stares I pray that in his direction your heart will be stirred… in fact our hearts will be stirred.

This world is like a stage drama, no one is an audience everyone is part of the cast
And until we see the relevance of everyone we will think that some people are outcasts
I am out there not based on my swag;
One: but the wisdom that flows from my mouth and drips from the tip of my tongue; done.

I have my role that I am playing; Spoken word poet blessed with oratorical brilliance mine is to speak
Politicians who have been voted into power yours is to work
Make our queuing and our fingers indelibly inked for hours worthwhile
They say no one is indispensable but trust me every existence is significant
Discover yours and see your relevance ….

Not just in this year but in many more years to come
Know the language of the street and the elite; be bilingual
Speak faith for that is the language of the divine

This year is a bride and everyone must be a proud groom
Leave no stone unturned; spill no semen then will her belly protrude with our individual ideas and give birth to our desires

From the beginning of the poem I was foretelling
I have ended call the above prophetic.
Now role credits.

THIS YEAR GO PAP, THIS YEAR GO PAP, THIS YEAR GO PAP

note:
this is a Spoken Word delivery done on a hip-pop beat.

this year go pap is a statement
made in Ghanaian pidgin language
which is meant to mean; this year will be a success.

baela: is a bush rat
"i dont fear huu" is s statement attributed to Araba Stamp; an old time actress who blessed the Ghanaian silver screen in the early 90's. the statement is meant to mean; i am not afraid of anything

Laud De Poet: TOAST TO THE ALTER

Laud De Poet: TOAST TO THE ALTER: TOAST TO THE ALTER MAN: You are the reason that I live the oxygen in my lungs Let me be the letters needed for the right poetic...

TOAST TO THE ALTER

TOAST TO THE ALTER

MAN:
You are the reason that I live the oxygen in my lungs
Let me be the letters needed for the right poetic remarks
You are the principle that solves my complicated arithmetic
One hundred beats per minute, rhythm in my heart my heart beat
Ahwenepa nkasa: Beauty of silence though 250plus stringed waist beads
Up down to fro I have been but you the only one that I seek
When compasses are broken down on the deep seas, lost; that is how one will feel without love but when your love encompasses you appear as a flickering sign of hope, my lighthouse
Clean and with a pure heart spotless the white house that will be the official abode of my complete self…
WOMAN:
Of course this act is mutual my president my heart shall be your official residence,
Intricately designed with complexity where there is difficulty in the ability to form images and ideas in the mind; scrimmages, especially of things never seen or experienced directly.
I am a coded language bar lines; ordained long before time my Mourinho the special one my only decoder; so flip, click, have free access into my hidden channels.
My heart is like the Cinderella shoe not everyone can fit but you.
Oxygen in my breath
Iron in my legs, carry me to where I deserve
Your whole self is gold how else can I describe your worth.
I dare anyone to take this action
Get on the periodic table and this trinity can’t be broken down by any chemical reaction
The 70% of my total body mass two part hydrogen one part oxygen and you know how to best quench my thirst, “il meglio”; you the best…
MAN:
I will cleave to you till the end of age, like breasts stay together in the bra of love even though separated by cleavage,
The ink of my pen destined to bleed in the clean page of your private papyrus so legally let me emboss my emblem; colophon…
My sunshine; my light energy trapped in chlorophyll, you complete my photosynthesis
Panorama, flashes, the photo-grid of your persona, speaks better; photo-sentences.
Mutual protection I prefer you an angel to being a police, because I don’t want my cardiac arrested; I am not ready to be laid to rest yet…
Why die when one can live for love especially’ when the ultimate has been done by Yashua on the cross for all of us.
The reason I think it’s an error to speak of Eros and point to cupid and his arrows.
I prefer you a thief to steal my heart; klepto, we both know it’s all yours though, steal mine let me steal yours, the beauty of theft only in this scenario.
The reason I love you is because there is no reason.

CIRCUMCISION BRITH MILLAH

BELOW IS THE WRITE UP OF THE SPOKEN WORD PIECE

CIRCUMCISION
I was once told of the story of the wanzam
I traced it to the torah i traced it to the torah even into the book of genesis where the first act was performed on Abraham//

who was 99 and Ishmael 13, the torah calls it brith millah the Akans refer to it as tw3tiatwa simply circumcision.

Now in the very beginning in the land of Eden where man lived in its garden even there man fell ever since man has been unclean,
man is full of dirt there is the need for a holy bath before the call of death, far from the Ganges river in India, Euphrates in Asia but a spiritual purification not of the body but of the heart removal of the foreskin new disposition far from mutilations of arteries or valves
blood of the lamb; red pigment washes every individual sin crimson and leaves it whiter than snow Isaiah 1:18 true...

Now would you answer in the affirmative, if you were ever asked whether the prepuce of your heart like an impeding tree had been axed, by that which is sharper than any two edged sword, I speak of the word of God, or would you go back 3centuries into time, borrow the word twaddle to describe my question delivered in the capsule of a rhyme, even as a defensive mechanismwhen within a twinkle of an eye, your grain tweak faster than a split second, ya lips convulse and the muscle on your face do that involuntary spasm dance,
for indeed your heart knows it is embalmed with sin because the heart can think...

When I say sin, I refer not to the 21st alphabet of the Hebrews but that which has its thesaurus as iniquity, transgression, uncleanliness.
Removal of the prepuce of the manhood now emulated by infidels no more exclusive to the Hebrews

God is God of all flesh not just to the Jews so the command has been extended to me and you,
from tangible to intangible seen to unseen by the eye tangible but can  be seen by the intangible
god speaks of the renewal of the mind akwankyre is not separate from the circumcision of the heart
now to bring you at par to its parallelism ma me nkyere
we can’t afford to live in this world alone we have to be on gods side
in over 400 places in the bible the scriptures speaks of the heart as a place of intelligence will thoughts understanding awareness this science has not fully grasped so it says these few potential nouns can only be turned to kinetic verb y the brain
but in definition the mind is the seat of thought, the centre of consciousness that stores, knowledge and memories but the heart is the seat of the soul and has the scripture not told us, to guard our hearts cos out of it comes the issues of life for as a man thinketh in heart so is he

We will never truly understand god if we don’t deal with him from a spiritual perspective
like the ancient prophets i poem these words of the chief executive i execute his words like Langston Hugues i freely release these words from my heart through my lungs even unto you
what he released into our nostrils were not cocks to block our sinuses to prevent us from breathing but his breath to ensure we are living our purpose is to please god the main reason why we must circumcise, if this life is but to ourselves then we may as well keep our foreskins and trap self in this susceptible cell after-all the foreskin can give high scores in the exam of sensitivity.

SPOKEN WORD -GRACE-

So this piece which was written somewhere last year in 2012, was performed; ministered for the first time before the Rev. Dr. Gordon Kisseih one of the pioneers of charismatic movement and a member of the Ghana pentecostal council and Head pastor of Miracle Life Gospel Churches worldwide in Tema at Miracle Life Gospel Church faith chapel at community 5 Tema where the church celebrated its silver jubilee it was a great honor an opportunity long awaited and so the recording of this piece immortalizes that moment...
It was inspired and motivated by him and his preaching of which he may not be aware, for he has been preaching GRACE like never before. So it was just expedient on my path to have released this piece on the 1st of April contrary to what people think of this day the word GRACE is no foolish joke but a wise gift from Adonai worthy to write about and perform as a single from my SPOKEN WORD album later this year 2013.
GRACE IS LIKE A FAT RAT FOR NO REASON MOVING INTO THE DOMAIN OF A HUNGRY CAT.~@LaudDePoet

A PORTION OF HISTORY

THERE CAME A TIME WHEN THERE WAS AM INVASION OF BLACK MINDS OF WHITE SKIN OF WHITE SKIN IN THE LAND OF WHITE MINDS OF BLACK SKIN.
AMONG MANY WEAPONS THEY BROUGHT WAS THE WEAPON OF DECEPTION USED AGAINST OUR KINGS LURING OUR FOREFATHERS INTO LETTING GO OF THEIR POOR AND DAUGHTERS, UNKNOWN TO THEM,  THEY WERE GOING TO ENTER INTO THE HAVE OF NO RETURN.
I WONDER WERE THE WITCH-DOCTORS AND MANY ORACLES OF THEN, NOT ABLE TO DECERN.
THEY CHANGED THEIR BRACELETS UD CHAINS,
THEY CHANGED THEIR ANKLETS TO CHAINS,
AND THE BEADS ON THEIR NECKS WERE CHANGED TO CHAINS.
THEY GAVE SCHNAPPS TO OUR CHIEVES AND KINGS AND TOOK YELLOW STONES,
MIRROR TO OUR ELDERS FOR DIAMONDS.
OUR FOREFATHERS WHO WERE FORCIBLY TAKEN OUT OF THE LAND OF THEIR OWN AND THOSE WHO NEVER REACHED THE LAND OF COLD,  WERE THRONE OVER-BOARD BY THESE VERY PEOPLE WITH DARK MINDS HOPING THAT WILL STOP THEIR SHIP FROM SINKING WHEN THERE AROSE A STORM,
SOME DID NOT EVEN MAKE IT INTO THE SHIPS, THEY DIED IN DUNGEONS OUT OF SUFFOCATION, OTHERS GAVE UP THE GHOST HAVING NO HOPE AND MOTIVATION.
HOW CAN THEY SING THEIR LOVE SONGS IN THE LAND OF FOREIGN, WHEN ALL THEY HEAR IS THE SOUND OF GUN-SHOTS AND THE SOUND OF WHIPS INSTEAD OF A GENTLE "KOKRO-KOO" FOR THEM TO KNOW ITS MORNING.
WHEN THEY FAILED TO CHAIN THE MINDS OF OUR YAA ASANTEWAA'S AND OUR NAYA BINGY'S,  THEY MANAGED TO MAKE OUR KINTAKUNTE'S TO RESPOND TO THE CALL OF TOBI'S .
THE TIREDNESS THEY ACQUIRED FROM PLOWING THE PLANTATIONS FROM MORNING TILL EVENING IS THE PILL THAT PUT THEM TO SLEEP WHEN THEY HAVE WORKED SO HARD AND THEY CAN'T STAND ON THEIR FEET WHERE CHAFF TURNS SO WEIGH MORE THAN TEN BAGS OF WHEAT,
AND THE SPIRITUAL SONGS THEY SUNG, GAVE THEM HOPE FOR THE FUTURE A BETTER FUTURE, WHERE BETTER IS GETTING BACK TO THE LAND OF THEIR FATHERS,  THE LAND OF THEIR ANCESTORS, BACK TO THE MOTHERLAND.
THE TIME HAS COME FOR THE BLACKMAN TO TELL HIS OWN STORY THE VERY BEST WAY HE DEEMS FIT.
THE BLISS OF THE OPPRESSOR IS THE BLISTERS ON THE OPPRESSED.
THE SCARES ON THE ANCESTORS, HAS BEEN DESCENDED ON THE DESCENDANTS AS INDELIBLE BIRTH MARKS ON THE SKIN.
THE CLINGING ON HOES, SICKLE, AND CUTLASSES AS THEY WORKED ON SUGAR-CANE FARMS YET RELISHING NO SWEETNESS,  CREATING IN US A FIGHTING SPIRIT; THE EDGE TO SURVIVE NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS.
I HAD A DREAM THAT ONE DAY THE BLACKMAN WILL BE THE PRESIDENT OF AMERICA,
THIS WAS THE DREAM OF MARTIN LUTHER.
THE BULLET MAY HAVE THE ABILITY TO END LIVES BUT NOT THE DREAMS AND VISIONS OF THOSE WITH GREAT EYES,
LIKE KWAME NKRUMAH WHO SAID "THE INDEPENDENCE OF GHANA IS MEANINGLESS UNLESS IT IS LINKED UP WITH THE TOTAL LIBERATION OF THE AFRICAN CONTINENT".
THE REALISATION OF THIS LAYS IN YOU AND I,
IF WE CAN MOVE WITH ONE MIND AND LOOK INTO THE FUTURE WITH ONE GREAT EYE.
THE TIME HAS COME FOR THE BLACKMAN TO TELL HIS OWN STORY THE VERY BEST WAY HE DEEMS FIT.
