This Year Go Pap

This year go pap

Everyone must be a proud groom to this New Year the bride
Leave no stone unturned; spill no semen for her belly must protrude with our individual ideas and give birth to our desires
I am bent on impregnating…This year’s womb is very receptive… I am coming hard, no contraceptives…

I will continue to speak straight just like my sexuality
I won’t relent on speaking street the language of the subjugated also I speak elite; the language of the privileged majority
There is unity in this plurality
Just like my Lord and King knowing the language of babies and oldies
I speak faith, Faith is my lingua

Check my early tweet this year
I said this year go pap, I go fit swear
God is my helper
I am no puppy or a grown dog
A crab will never give birth to a bird; Ghanaian adage

Check my bloodline and know why I roar and don’t hiss; I’m a lion…
Did I hear you say there is a Goliath hiding somewhere in every fresh year...?
Araba stamp; "I don’t fear huu";

I have my slingshot and my five polished stones... call me David a.k.a "Stonebwoy"
Nickname each of my stones raven,
it flies straight to the foreheads of unwanted giants...
This year we reigning

Those of you who know me know that Laud de poet is realer
This year I am going to get drunk, yes get drunk on success not amarulla
Life’s tough experiences shouldn’t kill anyone, for me tough skin is what I have developed multiples plies of that of an alligator

Gutter to gutter, I remember those days when friends used chase baela,
For me it was gold fish, the adjective of the noun has always been the ish;
I have always desired the street of heaven

God is good now I am grown, never relenting on having the legal tender
Philanthropist in the making,
when people like Mannie negotiate better and Quallo makes my wallet fatter,
why won’t this New Year be one pregnant with great aspirations

THIS YEAR GO PAP, THIS YEAR GO PAP, THIS YEAR GO PAP

Reminder, we are all connected in one way or the other
I said it before everyone’s existence is based on the existence of another
I am a man I’m black and proud and from above I’ve been gifted,
and my gift will make way for me; Holy Scriptures
My every move is towards the fulfillment of prophecy,

Quod scriptum est; what is written is written
Que sera sera; what will be will be
Blisters to scars, well I call them monumental landmarks to help us remember the past

Making things that are rare, common; like spoken word; now it’s all over your face
With the mind of Christ, I can only speak more of the wisdom of the old man upstairs
Down beneath he stares I pray that in his direction your heart will be stirred… in fact our hearts will be stirred.

This world is like a stage drama, no one is an audience everyone is part of the cast
And until we see the relevance of everyone we will think that some people are outcasts
I am out there not based on my swag;
One: but the wisdom that flows from my mouth and drips from the tip of my tongue; done.

I have my role that I am playing; Spoken word poet blessed with oratorical brilliance mine is to speak
Politicians who have been voted into power yours is to work
Make our queuing and our fingers indelibly inked for hours worthwhile
They say no one is indispensable but trust me every existence is significant
Discover yours and see your relevance ….

Not just in this year but in many more years to come
Know the language of the street and the elite; be bilingual
Speak faith for that is the language of the divine

This year is a bride and everyone must be a proud groom
Leave no stone unturned; spill no semen then will her belly protrude with our individual ideas and give birth to our desires

From the beginning of the poem I was foretelling
I have ended call the above prophetic.
Now role credits.

THIS YEAR GO PAP, THIS YEAR GO PAP, THIS YEAR GO PAP
